Croatia – KORNATI ISLANDS
GOURMET SAILING

Three national parks and more than 125 islands, cascading waterfalls and top-class food – these are the setting for our gourmet sailing trips in the waters around Šibenik. Sail with us on the Krka, and in the national park of the same name visit the Skradinski Buk cascades, the natural wonder made world-famous in the Winnetou films. Explore Šibenik with its cathedral and the narrow streets of an almost fully preserved Mediterranean old town that is home to the second-best restaurant in Croatia. We will sail through the islands

to Kornat, the main island of the Kornati National Park, admire the highlights of the Adriatic, swim in the Caribbean-like bay of Otok Levrnaka and climb the gentle hills of the island group to admire the sunset. In the Telašćica nature park, with its spacious bay, we will hike along the cliffs at Sali and take a look at the Jezero Mire lake. In Zut we will moor in front of the third-best restaurant in the Mediterranean. Before our evening treat, we will enjoy the panoramic view of the island world of the Kornati and erect a small stone sculpture on the plateau of the local hill.

Mainly short trips, plenty of time for activities at the different moorings every day, with the unique local restaurants (konobas) or gourmet eateries at every stop. Natural wonders, island worlds, steep cliffs and above all fine food make this sailing trip a must.

West-Greece – IONIAN SEA
RETRACING THE VOYAGE OF THE ARGONAUTS

In the Ionian Sea there are numerous islands mentioned in Homer’s Odyssey. Everyone knows the names Ithaca, Kefalonia, Kalamos or Kastos. The islands lie close together and each one in itself is a small treasure in the clear, blue Greek sea. With us, you can visit the caves on Kefalonia or the locations of the film “Captain Corelli’s Mandolin” starring Nicolas Cage and Penelope Cruz. Learn more about the natural wonder that makes the sea flow from west to east through the island of Kefalonia, simply following the laws of nature. Experience Greek hospitality on Ithaka in picturesque little fishing villages, or see the ghost town on Kalamos that has never again been occupied since the great earthquake of 1953. We will sail southwards to Kefalonia, past the island of Skorpios, which was acquired by Onassis in 1963 and extensively reforested, and allegedly leased for 100 years in 2013 to a Ukrainian billionaire’s daughter.

Greece – in the north of the Aegean
Sail & Walk and more – a journey with a thousand moments

The Sporades are a dream destination for those who seek the sun, emerald seawater, exotic beaches, green landscapes and the love of nature while not wanting to miss entertainment.
We sail from Skiathos to Skopelos, then to Alonnisos and on to Kyra Panagia – a nearly uninhabited island that only houses a monastery. The islands are located in Europes largest national marine nature reserve. The area has been protected because it is home to one of the rarest mammals in the world: the Monk Seal “Monachus monachus“! Dolphin schools are also concentrated in this region. We will experience the animals in their natural habitat!
The archipelago is perfect for creating a connection between relaxation and active holidays. This combination will be an integral part of our journey with unparalleled nature experiences: while trekking in the shade of pine forests, kayaking expeditions and bike rides, the eclectic bird, butterflies and wildflower world will show their faces on these lush islands. All this is still to be found – only a little away from the tourist centers.
You will learn why Skiathos is called the “Greek Caribbean“, where the Greek national flag was “born“, who lived on the “Castro” rock for more than five hundred years, which is the island of national cultural heritage of Greece, where exactly the Abba movie musical “Mamma Mia” was mainly shot, what still puzzels the archaeologists in the mountains of Skopelos, why the old capital of Alonnisos was for years uninhabited, where there is a “red beach” in the Sporades and whether there are still mini horses of an ancient race?

On our cruise you will encounter Greek history with its traditions and taste delicious Greek food – vegetarians and vegans are also safe with us. We are awaited by the famous Greek hospitality and the sunshine!
